This set up is for the Xero API, it is not possible for tracking information to populate to the Xero Sales Invoice Export or Xero Purchase Invoice Export from the invoice batches.
To pass a Department reference code through from etz to Xero enter the information on the assignment in the Accounting Interface as the third parameter after General Ledger/Nominal code for Sales and the General Ledger/Nominal code for Purchases, as shown below. This reference must be called Department in Xero:
If you want to track the Branch, you will need to call the tracking category "Branch" in Xero. You must also set up the branches in etz, and use the "Cost Centre" field to hold the equivalent branch reference from Xero.
Xero Tracking
For the Consultant, etz only exports the Main consultant on the Assignment.
If you do not want to track consultants you must leave the Agency Ref Export blank.
Put the Xero reference into the Export Ref No field. (This must be an exact character match, i.e. Capitals, spaces etc.)
Xero can only accept two 'Tracking Categories, so you can only use 2 out of the three choices above.
etz checks the Department Reference on the 'Accounting interface' field first if this exists it will be included.
Next if the consultant exists it will be included
Lastly, if one of the previous two elements does not exist it will check for the Branch.
